Gearbox Records Ltd. is an independent music studio and record label that operates out of London and Tokyo. Founded in 2009, the company focuses on vinyl records. It began by issuing previously unheard archival jazz material from its collection of reel-to-reel tapes, and today its catalog is mostly made up of alternative jazz, folk, and electronic music. A large portion of its output is all-analog.

The label was started by Darrel Sheinman, a former trader, serial entrepreneur, drummer, and audiophile. British producer Hugh Padgham is a shareholder. Adam Sieff, who originally headed sales and marketing, now serves as a non-executive director.

Gearbox has released music by artists including Sarathy Korwar, Kae Tempest, Rick Laird, Yusef Lateef, Charles Tolliver, Amber Rubarth, Mark Murphy, Simon Spillett, Chihei Hatakeyama, Dwight Trible, Butcher Brown, Theon Cross, Thelonious Monk, Don Cherry, Nico, Binker and Moses, Abdullah Ibrahim, and Buddy Rich (posthumously). Its recording of Ana Silvera's *Oracles* with Bill Laurance, Jasper Høiby, and Josephine Stephenson was named a Critic's Pick by *The Guardian*. The label has also re-released recordings from the defunct PRT Records/Rak Records. Additionally, Gearbox markets the Gearbox Automatic Mkii turntable.
